More big weather, low tide due at 12 ish, spent the morning building a huge cairn/ wall out of boulders covered with seaweed way down the point.. to stop the tide.
Strange how the right rock seemed to appear at the right moment, but until required would remain invisible. Slow methodical process, with tea breaks huddled in its shelter.

I filmed the development of the wairn as it was going up and then as the sea returned to envelop it .. with much crashing of waves it was in for a rough night. I had to flee by 2.15pm, about an hour earlier than I expected as the water was getting too deep.
